An evening of colorful new music from Puerto Rico, this concert will include the premiere of composer Roberto Sierra’s Canciones de amor, based on four poems by Julia de Burgos, featuring soprano Zulimar López-Hernández, a graduate of Philadelphia's Academy of Vocal Arts. Also included will be music by the young New York Philharmonic composer/teaching artist, Angélica Negrón. More info coming soon!
