Orchestra 2001 will partner with celebrated bandoneonist Shinjoo Cho to perform Piazzolla Centennial: Lo que vendrá (What's to come), a celebration of master composer and bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992).
In keeping with Piazzolla's relentless pursuit of music of the future, Orchestra 2001 and bandoneónist, Shinjoo Cho will premiere a new piece by leading Argentine composer and pianist Diego Schissi, whose music exemplifies the evolution of tango.
Diego Schissi’s commission generously funded by the Steven R. Gerber Trust.
